On National Go Skateboarding Day, Cosmic is proud to present the 7th annual Invasion Skateboard Festival! Invasion, presented by Cosmic and their participating partners, takes place at Woodland Public Skatepark in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Invasion has become a highly anticipated annual event that celebrates skateboarding, music, art and the culture that is alive and well in Lexington. An entire day devoted to our passion.The event runs from 12pm to 6pm on Tuesday June 21st. In just over six years, participation and spectator base has grown well over 400%.

This year, Invasion is unique. Not only will the day be a celebration of skateboarding from all aspects, the day of June 21st will be the final contest in the quest of a $1000 Grand Prize for the Thrash for the Cash, a new addition to the Invasion Day events. The sixth and final event will highlight not only incredible talent and action, but also the hard work of five separate stops on the Invasion Thrash for the Cash contest series..

There will be the main competition, Thrash for the Cash finals, live music, food, and more! Confirmed pros for this year's Invasion include Guru Khalsa, Gilbert Crockett, Daryl Angel, Silax Baxter Neal, Jake Johnson, and Kerry Getz. There may be more pros and ams as well.

Registration begins at 12pm
